Spay/Neuter Clinic Info

ONLY YOU CAN END THE TRAGEDY OF PET OVERPOPULATION!
DON’T BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS PETS DIE!
We here at Fur Ever Paws see it every day… Unwanted puppies/dogs going to shelters where, due to a lack of resources, the majority are euthanized. We’ve made it our mission to try to save those dogs but it’s a tough task if pet owners aren’t doing their part by getting their animals fixed.

Fixing your animals is actually good for them
- In addition to saving lives, spayed and neutered dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives.
- Spaying female dogs and cats eliminates the possibility of uterine or ovarian cancer and greatly reduces the incidence of breast cancer.
- Neutering a male reduces the risk of both prostate enlargement and prostate cancer.
- Neutering also will make your pet more affectionate and less likely to roam, get in fights, or become lost.
- Spayed and neutered pets are better, more affectionate, companions.
Did you know that
- 35% of pet owners still choose not to spay or neuter their pets?
- 1 in 20 of the 163 million pet dogs and cats in the United States end up in a shelter each year.
- About 8 million strays or unwanted pets are taken in by shelters each year; 3.7 are euthanized while only 3 to 4 million are adopted!
- Communities spend millions of dollars to control and eliminate unwanted animals.
- Irresponsible breeding contributes to the problem of dog bites and attacks.
- Animal shelters are overburdened with surplus animals.
